Food Review; Idealite, Malaysia's 1st Wholesome Dining Place.

Hello people and today I’m going to do a food review for Idealite, Malaysia’s First Wholesome Dining Place. As a new member of Sarawak Bloggers, I was lucky enough to get invited for the restaurant grand opening and food tasting event today. The restaurant itself has been operating since February but it is now officially open for business.

What is Idealite? What is the idea of a wholesome dining place? According to Mr Tan Yong Jeng,the founder and nutritionist himself believes in healthy dining. Idealite is a restaurant founded by Mr Tan Yong Jeng and 5 of his associates who are recognized by Malaysia Homeopathy Medical Council as a registered Homeopath Theraphist and Nutritionist that is registered under the FCPAA Malaysia. You can say Mr Tan Yong Jeng sure does know his foods very well and what is in it. Idealite is not entirely a vegetarian restaurant, it’s more to a wholesome restaurant where they served nutritious and delicious vegetables and with some dash of onions and garlic whereby some vegetarians don’t eat. As well as egg and the use of organic oat milk. And I must say the use of the organic oat milk to substitute the coconut milk in curry was genius!

Idealite insisted on 8 balanced nutrients tasty shu food. Which are;
1. Wholemeal carbohydrates
2. Plant-based proteins
3. Essential fatty acids
4. Vitamins
5. Minerals
6. Filtered water
7. Fibre
8. Phytonutrients
(And that is why you can see the number 8 on the walls. )

Shu food? What on earth is a shu food?
Shu food is a type of food whereby they served no MSG, no synthetic coloring, no canned food, no vegetarian gluten meat, no peanut and no microwave cooking.
In preparing foods, Idealite emphasized on the usage of olive oil, brown sugar, Himalaya salt, brown rice, pumpkin ramen, and organic oat milk. Which surprisingly taste better than some of the ingredients that we are used to (the unhealthy type if you know what I mean)

The opening of Idealite in Kuching marks the fourth franchise of this Idealite restaurant. And guess what? It is the first one in Sarawak and even Borneo! Indeed the Kuching-ites are so lucky to have Idealite around. The first 3 franchise are all in Penang and they are quite famous in Penang with their Bak Kut Teh which was voted as one of the top Bak Kut Teh in Penang and duh there were no meat(pork) used at all! I didn't even know it was possible at all. But with Idealite, you can find food that you usually had anywhere but with a vegetable and nutritious twist.

Mr Tan did shared some of the good news he received, he is about to open up new franchises in China, Kuala Lumpur and also Johor. This healthy dining lifestyle sure does growing fast and I must say rapidly too. It is indeed a great idea to open up more and more healthy dining restaurant instead of more warungs cause I am such a pig (metaphorically) when it comes to eating at warung/kopitiam with such an unhealthy treats indeed.

The first floor of the restaurant and guess what, if you need to dine in with your family or friends privately, there are two VIP rooms available.
